About Danaveda

The most precious contribution to our own life, as well as the lives of other people, would be finding the way to connect to our true essence and unravel the latent ‘seeds of wisdom’ which are existent deep within us. These ‘seeds’ simply have to be awakened, brought to our awareness, and then nourished and nurtured lovingly till they sprout and grow into plants of our manifested potential.

As your co-passenger on this journey, my purest intention is to hold the sacred space for you to connect deeply to those treasures of life and to be able to live the essence of that divine seed. Along the path, I commit to assisting you in the process of nourishing and nurturing the same on all different levels of existence with the tools available to us. However, it is my ultimate wish and goal to empower you to become independent and to walk alone, knowing that the most powerful support you need is always available to you – within you.

So, why ‘DanaVeda’ you may ask? Amongst other beautiful meanings that Dana has, after living in India I discovered that it also means ‘seeds or grains’, as well as ‘nourishing’, ‘cherishing’, ‘generosity’, and ‘charity’. On the other hand, the Sanskrit word Veda means ‘knowledge’ and ‘wisdom’. Therefore, ‘DanaVeda’ beautifully integrates my intention and life mission in assisting people unraveling, embracing and nourishing their potential, and living the healthiest, most loving, joyful, fulfilling, and content expression of themselves.

On this journey of life we come across many people, physically and virtually. It gets even overwhelming at times and, being aware of this, I salute you for taking time to stop by and visit my ‘virtual station’ with everything that it offers, as well as to allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Danijela Radonic Bhandari, but I mostly go by the nickname which my family gave me since the day I was born – DANA.

I was raised in Croatia and when I was 15, the war in former Yugoslavia started and we had to relocate to Serbia which was my home for the next 15 years. Finally, at the age of 30, I embraced the entire world as my home as I moved to the UAE, then Nepal, India, Maldives, and now, as I write this, I am back to India again (for how long I really wouldn’t know).

Being in the medical and well-being field, both allopathic and alternative since 1997, my life’s journey has been truly enriching. Each of the places where I lived so far has provided me with an opportunity to deepen my learning, be it about myself or about valuable ways of assisting others.

After completing medical school in Belgrade, Serbia, I started off as a Dental Assistant, but the human mind and Eastern Medicine was something I was attracted to since my early age. I completed a 4-year graduation program in Alternative Medicine, after which I got trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Reiki, as well as in the science of Yoga & Meditation. In order to nourish my eternal hunger in the wellbeing field, I completed studies of Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching, specialized in Emotional Eating Psychology, and I now integrate all these modalities into my holistic interactive sessions. Each session is individually designed to help you dialogue with your subconscious mind, connect with your energy field or simply evaluating and developing a health promoting relationship with all of life. I hold the space for you to travel deep within yourself. This is where precious, hidden insights are unraveled, healed and integrated into your conscious awareness, helping you to make better and more informed choices in life.

It was Dr. Yogesh Choudhary, Director of Indian Institute of Hypnotherapy and Executive Board Advisor of CHI-USA who had introduced me to Clinical Hypnotherapy as an effective tool in treating an auto-immune disease which I was diagnosed with in 2010. After being cured without any medication and learning so much about myself in those few months under his guidance, I have decided to get my formal training, share this knowledge and help others by becoming a therapist myself. Later on I continued my training with Dr. Nitin Shukla, Director & Master Trainer of CHI-USA (California Hypnosis Institute - USA) and, besides being a therapist, I became a Hypnotherapy Teacher registered with CHI-USA (https://californiahypnosis.net/teachers/).

I received my Health Coaching training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York, where I studied practical, highly effective coaching methods to help you find the right, sustainable lifestyle that will allow you to flourish and thrive.

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who specializes in Emotional Eating Psychology, I will be your guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support as you set goals toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources, make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness, as well as redefine your relationship with food.

You will develop a deeper understanding of choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

I work with my clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because I understand that life happens and your needs will change. I want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance. I believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions as their own expert, not the latest magazine article or fad diet book.

Let’s define what you value most from your well-being. We’ll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. As your coach, I will not dictate a program or a diet for you, but together we will explore what makes you feel better and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we’ll co-create your health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working towards.
